The Reporting API has been replaced by the Explore API. Talkdesk strongly encourages the transition to the Explore API. You may still use the Reporting API, but please note:

  • Talkdesk will only provide support (no SLA for bug fixing or outage recovery) until June 1, 2022.
  • The Reporting API endpoints will stop responding to requests on December 1, 2022.

Overview

The Reporting API is an asynchronous API that allows creating reporting jobs and downloading the corresponding historical reporting resource file.

Use Case

As a real life example, consider the scenario where the leadership team of a company has a key metrics dashboard, with information about the company's Financials, Products, HR, Marketing and also Customer Experience. You can retrieve Talkdesk Data via Reporting API, store it in your analytical system and embed key customer metrics in the leadership dashboard.
