The Voice Biometrics Opt-In API, a Talkdesk Identity™ solution, allows you to programmatically set a caller’s consent to proceed with the enrollment in voice biometrics, as well as to verify if the consent has been given. It gives you programmatic control over the voice biometrics enrollment process.
As a real-life example, consider the scenario where a company has been engaging with their customers to request consent for them to enroll in voice biometrics. Using the Voice Biometrics Opt-In API, these consents can be set without the need to previously escalate the call to a live agent.
On the other hand, you can use the Voice Biometrics Opt-Out API to opt-out enrolled users by deleting their voice profile.
