The Identity Insights API, a Talkdesk Identity™ solution, gives you access to a list of identity call information regarding callers’ authentication with voice biometrics and fraud-related insights concerning the caller’s phone number.
Using the Identity Insights API, you can retrieve information regarding caller authentication with voice biometrics and filter the results, or filter specific fraud-related information in every call that has passed through your contact center. By integrating the data fetched with third-party systems, you can make a more thorough analysis of a caller's number.
It allows querying the data using several filters, which helps refine the information being analyzed.
The Identity Insights API doesn’t allow filtering and sorting data by the field name (the caller’s name). Also, when filtering by timestamp, it is only possible to do it by date ranges and not by a specific date.
As a real-life example, consider that a company needs a list of callers that have failed to authenticate with voice biometrics. From those, the company wants to see callers that pose a higher risk of fraud. The Identity Insights API provides all the relevant information to enable the company to analyze the different information and easily identify unwanted callers.
The data is filtered for up to 90 days by default.
The Identity Insights API has been in General Availability since January 2023.
